To craft Giesen Chardonnay, Giesen carefully selected classic, cool-climate grapes from Hawke’s Bay and Waipara wine regions in New Zealand. The Hawke’s Bay fruit brings ripe peach, stonefruit and mealy notes to the wine, whilst Waipara adds citrus fruit and crisp acidity.

The Giesen family relocated to New Zealand's South Island from Germany in 1981 charmed by the natural beauty, climate and winegrowing possibilities.     One of the best I’ve had

    This NA Chardonnay tastes like a light “real” one. Lovely to sip and a great pairing with a warm evening and cheese & crackers.
