Steve Jackson's background is in the luxury wedding + event space as a videographer. A few years ago after going sober he realized that there was a huge gap in the market for a high-end, brand driven NA sparkling option that could hold it's own next to heritage champagne houses at such luxury events and celebrations around the world. (Sipping a Coke from a champagne glass in Lake Como at a wedding doesn't quite hit the same). So he set out to create Society De La Rassi. 

Not long after having this idea, Steve met Wesley Davis at Bagetelle in Cabo. He was there filming a wedding and she was there for a bachelorette. They briefly spoke in the club but as fate would have it were on the same flight back to LA the next day. Wesley was busy editing TikToks, Reels and all the content from the trip for the girls (very serious MOH duties) and Steve noticed so they started chatting. One of many chance encounters that laid the foundation of SDLR and why 'chance encounters' is part of our brand ethos + lore. 

Wesley came aboard to help Steve bring his vision to life through her experience in fashion, marketing + e-commerce. Steve booked a trip to Spain to source grapes for the flagship wine, their 2023 Vintage Neue Brut, and the rest is history.
