A great way to taste test the Free Spirits' The Spirit of Bourbon. Tarragon syrup adds an herbaceous depth of flavor to the rich, oaky, caramel notes of the bourbon.


INGREDIENTS

 

INSTRUCTIONS

Add the ingredients to a mixing glass except the lemon peel.

Stir and strain into a chilled rocks glass then zest with a lemon peel

 

*TO MAKE TARRAGON SYRUP

In small saucepan, heat 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup water and 4 tarragon sprigs to a simmer.

Stir until the sugar has dissolved then remove from heat and allow to cool.

Once cool, remove tarragon sprigs and store in the fridge in an airtight container fro up to 2 weeks
