Founders Vanessa Royle (Santa Barbara) and Mariah Wood (Boston) bonded over a frustrating lack of sophisticated non-alcoholic options while at Harvard Business School. They wanted a cocktail that was sophisticated, low in sugar, and devoid of mind-altering ingredients. Together they spent two years bringing the elements of a social drink to the ideal non-alcoholic cocktail—something to be sipped, swirled, and savored. They created Tilden to elevate everyday celebrations, bring moments of discovery, and foster deeper social connections.
